ADA Detectable Warning Tiles |
Transit-Tile
detectable warning tiles are manufactured with a colorfast composite
compound, incorporating Molecular Cross-Linked Reinforced Copolymer
(MCL). MCL is a proprietary process of compression molding. As these
materials are molded using high performance presses, they bond with
each other physically & chemically to form one solid part. MCL
processing of bulk molding compounds is state-of-the-art
and is used in many other high wear applications and UV exposed products,
such as boat hulls and other extreme applications. MCL molded products
are highly scratch resistant.
The resulting tactile tiles are UV and color stable, highly resistant
to environmental stresses salts, moisture and cleaning solutions.
Transit-Tile is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities
Act (ADA) requirements and also meet the more stringent requirements
of the State of California under Title 24 of the California Accessibility
Code.
Transit-Tiles tactile tiles are installed by certified local
contractors or end-users. Complete turn-key quotations on materials
and installations available by contacting
